Satu lagi dotcom yang mati: GetFonts.com…Ini tulisan yang dipasang di halaman depannya ketika terakhir gue datang ke sana:
“All Good Things Must Come to an End.

for nearly two years, we are sorry to announce the closure of

padahal dulu gue sering ‘nongkrong’ di situ.. hiks.. ;(

Aneh-aneh aja tempat daftar domain yang satu ini, Stargate. Hari ini mereka kirim e-mail lagi yang isinya begini:

Benny:

Padahal domain itu barusan gue daftarin di GKG dengan sukses. Gila kan?!

Minggu lalu daftarin domain baru dan bikin account baru buat teman di kantor via stargate, eh pas besoknya dicek tuh domain masih free, account baru gak bisa login, dan parahnya CC udah di charge.. ;( ugh… ;(

Setelah dikomplain, jawaban dari mereka:

Benny,
Those domain(s) were not successfully registered. Please try to register
those domain(s) again making sure you enter in valid namesevers when
registering the domain(s). You should not be double billed. If you believe
you were billed, please contact customerservice@stargateinc.com for the
appropriate refund.
